Stem Cell Research
Stem cell research is an exciting area of medical science that offers hope for the treatment of some medical conditions which are presently incurable. President Bush and our current District 3 Representative have put their own religious views ahead of the health and welfare of the American people in blocking federal funding of stem cell research. As a U.S. Congressmen, I will base my votes on funding of medical research on the scientific merits of the research and the potential benefit to the American people, not on personal religious views.
